Jonathan Linn Scott

Jonathan Scott, 26, of Desloge, passed away October 4, 2015. He was born October 2, 1989 in Farmington, to Bruce Scott and Sherri (Eaton) Johnson. Jonathan attended Mineral Area College Truck Driving School, and he was affiliated with 18 Wheels Motorcycle Association. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Donald and Linda Scott; and his grandpa, Dallas Donald Eaton, Sr. Jonathan is survived by his fiancé, Jessica Elizabeth Barton; daughter, Chloie Elizabeth Scott; mother, Sherri Johnson and husband James; father, Bruce Scott; two sisters, Shonda (Scott) Camden and fiancé, Cameron Bristol, Katrina Leeann Scott; step-brothers, James (Terri) Johnson and Sam Johnson; one niece, Haleigh; four nephews, Connor, Mason, Jaxson, and Bradley; grandmother, Doris Eaton; and many other relatives also survive. Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Tuesday, October 6, 2015 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The service will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Chapel, Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Bob Price officiating. Interment will follow at Parkview Cemetery in Farmington.
