Johnnie Rex Walker was born July 26, 1954. to J.D. and Jane (Holmes) Walker in St. Louis, Missouri.
He passed from our lives on September 24, 2020 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.
He is survived by his mother Jane, his daughter Miranda Walker (Zach Harper), son Austin Walker, their caring Mother Dawn Walker Kelly, his brother Jerry Walker and sister René Walker Welch (Jon Welch). He is also survived by many loving Nieces, Great Nephews and Nieces, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends.
He is preceded in death by his father J.D., maternal grandparents Arthur and Winnie Holmes, paternal grandparents Clyde Sr. and Barbara Warren Walker.
Johnnie was a car fanatic, at the age of 3 years old, he would watch out the living room window and tell his mother what make and model the cars were that passed by. He loved music, racing, hunting and fishing, spending time in nature and with his family.
He proudly served in the U.S. Navy and came from a long line of others who served in the Armed Forces before him.
His joy has always been found in his children Miranda and Austin. He loved them with out measure and cherished their time together. He also took great pride that his son has proudly served in the Air Force.
He will be remembered by those who loved him by his smile, laugh, sense of humor and caring ways.

There will be a graveside service with full military honors 10 AM Friday, October 9, 2020 at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis.
