John William Pigg

Mr. John William Pigg passed away late Monday afternoon, January 22, 2018, at Farmington Presbyterian Manor at the age of 82 years, 1 month & 2 days. John was born on December 20, 1935, in Farmington, and was the son of William M. Pigg (dec'd 1979) and Mary Imogene 'Klob' Pigg (dec'd 1997). Also preceding in death were: his wife, Patsy Dean 'Pogue' Pigg (1992), and 1 grandson, Colton W. Pigg (2011)

John was a longtime member of St. Paul Lutheran Church of Farmington, and Farmington ELKS Lodge #1765. John graduated from Farmington High School, later serving on the Farmington Board of Aldermen, and served on the Farmington Fire Department for 15 years, with 5 of them as Chief. John was a former President of The Ozark Firefighters Association. John was a member of the Fredericktown Jaycees as sponsoring club when Farmington Jaycees was re-chartered in 1956. John was also a Past-President of the Farmington Jaycees.

Survivors include his loving companion, Colleen Minton, of Farmington. A daughter, Melissa (& Joe) Miletich, of Utah. A son, Brent Pigg (& Kimberly Pense), of Farmington. 1 brother, Jerry (& Sharon) Pigg, of Farmington. John's grandchildren: Carly (& Cory) Haas, Cody Pigg, Maxwell Miletich and Mikayla Miletich. Great-Grandchildren: Cooper and Kinley Haas. Aiden, Camdon and Olivia Pigg. Colleen's children & grandchildren: Mandy (& George) Blackmon and their children - Brock, Cade and Jack Blackmon and Jesus Morales. Cathy Johnson and Mike Kottrell and their children - Zac and Jake Polk, Cayla Johnson, Ethan Glore and Erin Polk (dec'd 2000). Bobby (& Lisa) Minton and their children - Audrey and Max Minton.

Visitation Thursday, 5-8 p.m. Visitation resumes Friday at 6:30 a.m.

Funeral : Friday, 11:00 a.m., January 26, 2018

at : TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Rev. Bob Webb officiating.

Interment follows at : Lutheran Cemetery - Farmington
