John "Little Wheels” Speidel

John "Little Wheels" Wayne Speidel, 78, of Farmington, passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at Parkland Hospital in Farmington. He was born Friday, October 4, 1946, in Festus, to the late Norman “Bud” and Bernice (Govero) Speidel. John was of Catholic faith. 

John was known as “Little Wheels” by his work family. He was an over the road truck driver for over 40+ years, and out of those years, he owned and operated Speidel Transportation. John’s true love was driving his truck. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; son in infancy, John Wayne Speidel II; brother, Jim Speidel and wife Judy. 

John is survived by his three children, Tracy Mayberry and husband Terry, Tina Bable and husband Eddie, Dan Eubanks and wife Cheryl; four grandchildren, Joe Mayberry and wife Ashley, Whitney Speidel, Nicholas Speidel and Madison Mayberry; three great-grandchildren, Leiam, Joey and Austyn; siblings, Gary Speidel and wife Kathy, Eric Speidel, Pam Hart and husband Bill; several nieces, nephews and family friend, Dennis “Digger” Auten also survives.
