Joella Tiefenauer

JoElla Tiefenauer, 45 of Desloge, passed away Monday, January 30, 2012 at St. Johns Mercy Medical Center.She was born March 9, 1966 to the late Joan Rasnic.JoElla was a graduate of the West County High School in 1984 and was employed for 25 years at Mineral Area Regional Medical Center.She was also a loyal member of the First Baptist Church in Desloge, where her and husband Steve, taught Sunday School for the one to two year olds. JoElla was very involved with family activities, and loved watching her boys play sports. She was preceded in death by mother, Joan Rasnic and mother in-law, Hilda (Furry) Tiefenauer. JoElla is survived by husband, Steve Tiefenauer; sons, Spencer and Seth Tiefenauer; father in-law, Bobby Tiefenauer; aunt, Cathy Rasnic; numerous aunts, uncles, relatives, and friends. Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Thursday, February 2, 2012 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The visitation will resume Friday, February 3, 2012 at 9:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Desloge, with service following at 11:00 AM.Pastor Bradford Laubinger will be officiating.Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Leadington. In lieu of flowers, family has set up a Trust Fund in care of Steve Tiefenauer.
