Joe Reed, Jr.

Joe Lee “Joey” Reed, Jr., 52, of Farmington passed away August 19, 2020 at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus. He was born September 27, 1967 in Knoxville, TN to the late Joe Lee Reed, Sr. and Patricia (McNutt) Stogsdill. He was a member of the Faith Cowboy Church. Joey was the jack of all trades and master of none as he would say. He was the go to person for anything and everything. He helped anyone, stranger, friend or family with food, money or just his time. He loved music, spending time with the grandkids and making us laugh. He was proud of southern roots and his patriotism shined through in everything he did. When asked what his greatest accomplishment is, he would answer with being a husband and a dad. He loved with all of his heart and then some, no judgement ever for anyone. He will be greatly missed by his wife, kids, grandkids and so many others that he’s touched through the years.

Joey is survived by his loving wife, Christina (Martin) Reed; eight children, Bonnie Cropper, Amanda DelaRosa, Michael Puri, Jamie (Jason) Zirkle, Kimberly (Mathew) Allen, Emma Martin, Abigail (Dillon) Hammock, Jacob (Challis) Reed; sixteen grandchildren, Ashley Puri, Daniela Moradel, Amaya DelaRosa, Jordan Zirkle, Tristan Zirkle, Jessica Zirkle, Julianna Zirkle, Michael, Donovan, Mia-Jo Reed, Miles, Kieryn and Kooper Allen, Alice and Dillon Hammock II, Carter Reed; three great-grandchildren; step-father, Gary Stogsdill; siblings, Angela (J.J.) Cardwell, Mendy (Tim) Whetsell, Joanna Reed, Tim (Renee) Reed; Christie (Mitch) Zeeb; special niece, Aaliyah Martin.
