Jimmie W. Martin

Jimmie Wade Martin, 76, of Park Hills passed away September 18, 2014. He was born July 28, 1938 in Commerce, OK. Jimmie proudly served his country in the United States National Guard for 12 years. He was a member of the East Bonne Terre Second Baptist Church. He was a retired Teamster working for Hager-Hinge of St. Louis. Jimmie greatly enjoyed his time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Cleta (Gunnett) Martin; first wife, Bernice (Edwards) Martin; son, Jimmie W. Martin, Jr. Jimmie is survived by his wife, Mary (Brown) Martin, three daughters, Dana (Gary) Williams, Jeanie (Kevin) Pinson, Dawn Martin and Mike Hill; three step-daughters, Diane (Joe) Maxson, Sharon Walker, Amanda Walker; step-son, Donald (Carol) Walker; nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; siblings, Jerry W. (Joyce) Martin, Daniel (Susan) Martin, Donna (Jim) Tate, Bill (Melba) Martin, Mike (Cathy) Martin. Visitation will be Friday, September 19, 2014 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. Service will be Saturday at 9:00 AM at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Chapel with Rev. Stanley Payne officiating. Interment will follow at St. Francois Memorial Park.
