Jerry Wayne Fone'Y

Jerry Fone’y, age 65, of Bonne Terre passed away on Saturday August 19, 2023. He was born on Thursday February 24, 1958, in Chicago Illinois, to the late Willie and Lenore (Chapman) Fone’y. Jerry was also preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Janene L. Timms.

Jerry enjoyed Cubs baseball, corn hole, Country music, Bud Light, and hanging out with family and friends. His baby boy was his pride and joy. Jerry was always the life of the party and could always be heard saying “You Comin”?

Jerry is survived by his loving wife Lindsey Timms-Fone’y; his children, Quazi (Allen) McNeal, Jenita Fone’y, Geri Fone’y, and Jaylen Fone’y as well as a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Siblings, Robert Fone’y, and Mark Fone’y and wife (LaVette); father-in-law, Lonnie Timms Jr.; sisters-in-law, Jenna Dennison And Kaylee Timms; brother-in-law, Bub Timms; his best friend, Mikey Byers, as well as many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

The family plans to have a private Celebration of Life at a later date. Memorial may be made in honor of Jerry Fone’y to the Alzheimer’ Association. Arrangements under the direction of C.Z. Boyer & Son Desloge.
