Jerry Buck Mccomber

Jerry "Buck" McComber, 68 of Leadwood, passed away Monday, May 7, 2012 at his residence.He was born January 12, 1944 in Leadwood.Buck was a member of AMA ?? American Motorcyclist Assocation.He worked and raced for the Big River Sanddrags and loved to work on everyones motorcycle.He was an avid Bingo player in later years. He is preceded in death by parents, Ralph and Mabel (Goodson) McComber; daughter, Misty Michelle McComber; sister, Shirley Rasnick; father and mother in-law, Earnest and Ruby Graves. Buck is survived by wife, Brenda (Graves) McComber, daughters, Susan (McComber) Harris, Holly McComber; grandchildren, Jason (Sara) Harris, Nickolas Harris, Bradley Meinershagen, Rheannon McComber; great grandchildren, Blake and Justin; siblings, Jeff McComber, Mitzie Hoff and his twin sister, Jane Lawson; many nieces, nephews and close friends. Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Leadwood Tuesday, May 8, 2012 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM.The service will be held Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at 1:00 PM at C.Z. Boyer and Son Chapel in Leadwood with Pastor Edgar Green, of Irondale Church of God, officiating.Interment will follow at Leadwood Cemetery.Memorials may be made to The National Kidney Foundation www.kidney.org
