Jerome Bernard “Jerry” Lampen, 83, of Farmington passed away March 2, 2025 at Southbrook Skilled Nursing Center in Farmington. He was born April 15, 1941 in Breese, IL to the late Arthur Bernard and Madeline Frances (Hahn) Lampen. Jerry proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church of Farmington and fourth degree member of the Knights of Columbus Assembly 14041 of Bartlett, TN. He retired from Dupont Chemical in Memphis, TN. Jerry loved dogs, enjoyed watching westerns and cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals. He held a special place in his heart for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, where he loved driving a bus for the Target House/ St. Jude.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his loving wife, Donna (Ferguson) Lampen; and daughter, Kristy Hardee-Lampen.
Jerry is survived by two daughters, Diane McCall and husband Mike and Kimberly Knoop; four grandchildren, Emily McCall, Vito Knoop, Stella Knoop and Rocco Knoop; one sister, Rita Boyd and husband Charlie; one brother, James Lampen and wife Loretta. Many nieces, nephews, family and friends also survive.
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Farmington from 10:00 AM until the time of a memorial mass at 11:00 AM with Rev. William Thess officiating. Inurnment will follow at New Calvary Cemetery in Farmington. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Arrangements are under the direction of C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home – Taylor Chapel in Farmington.
