Doris Jean Lee, 89, of Elvins, passed away October 31, 2017, at Southbrook Skilled Nursing Center in Farmington. She was born January 21, 1928, in Elvins, to the late Arch and Lucy (Sweeny) Hall. She was a member of the Abundant Life Family Church in Farmington.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Lee; son, Michael King; grandsons, Michael “Todd” Sirclum and one in infancy; four brothers, Archie Jr., Leon, Vern, and Ray Hall; four sisters, Sylvia Davis, Lillian Pounds, Glenda Hammers, and Eva Moore.
Doris is survived by her children, Roger Penberthy and wife Alberta, Lance King and wife Judy, Vicky Donovan and husband Joe, Susan King, Mark Wampler and wife Shelly, Shawn Wampler and wife Victoria; step-sons, Marvin Lee and wife Nancy, Ronnie Wampler and wife Kay; step-daughter, Lana Black; 10 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren with another on the way; one half-sister, Betty Webb.
Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Thursday, November 2, 2017 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The service will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Chapel, Friday, November 3, 2017 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Rick Hensley officiating. Interment will follow at Oddfellows Cemetery in Park Hills.
