Jean Horton

Jean Horton, 85, of St. Louis, passed away on October 12, 2015. She was born August 08, 1930, in Desloge to the late Hunter B. McDuffie and Lucy (Sisk) Dunn. Jean was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening. She was a member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 63 years Eugene B. Horton, son, Rob Horton; grandson, Casey Horton; daughter-in-law, Debbie; and a sister, Helen Ransom. Jean is survived by two daughters, Sheri Horton of Illinois; Rene' Eder and husband Neil of High Ridge; one son, Larry Horton and wife Cherie of Festus; six grandchildren, Sheri, David, Jeramie, Chris, Jacquelyn, Jared; nine great-grandchildren, Alex, Michael, Jacob, Nathan, Mikala, Charlie, Austin, Jordyn, David; two great-great-grandchildren, Adisyn and Aidyn and one sister Eileen Dalton. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15, 2015 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge. Service will be held on Friday, October 16, 2015 at 1:00 PM at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Chapel in Desloge with Brother Lynn Nickols officiating. Interment following in St. Francois Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
