Janet Skaggs

            Janet Skaggs, 75, of Park Hills, passed away September 19, 2017, at Parkland Health Center in Farmington. She was born May 17, 1942, in Bonne Terre, to the late Otis and Francis (Miller) Hoff. She was a member of the Frankclay Assembly of God Church. 

            She was preceded in death by her parents; son, John Simmons; sisters, Bernice Callahan and Juanita Hoff; brothers, Floyd and George Hoff; brother in-law, Rev. Davey Welker. 

            Janet is survived by three children, Deborah Carr, Carol Price and husband Tim, George (Earlene Henson) Simmons; grandchildren, Bryan (Jennifer Richardson) Martin, Kristy Martin, Rhonda (Greg) Currington, Sarah (Mike) Courtway, Diana (James) Brush, Elizabeth Graham, Jerred Simmons, Cassandra (David) Baxter, John (Janelle) Simmons Jr., and Suzie Simmons; seventeen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; siblings, Charlotte Eaton and husband Bobby, Louise Welker, Charles Hoff and wife Mary, Mike Hoff and wife Donna. 

            Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Leadwood, Wednesday, September 20, 2017, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Interment will be held at Adams Cemetery in Frankclay, Thursday, September 21, 2017 with procession leaving C. Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Leadwood at 10:00 AM. Brother Danny Hartley will be officiating.
