James Vernon Winch Sr.

James Winch Sr., 68 of Farmington, passed away Thursday, December 20, 2012 at Parkland Regional Medical Center in Farmington.He was born September 2, 1944 in Bonne Terre to the late James Robert and Velma (Sutton) Winch.He was retired from McDonnell Douglas and was a member of Calvary Temple Church in Fredericktown. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Norma (McClintock) Winch and sister, Francis Pennington. James is survived by his children, Pamela (Bob) Huffman, James V. (Angie) Winch Jr., Tammy Winch, and Dawn (Mike) Welsh; grandchildren, Kelsey Winch, Autumn Winch, Abbey Winch, Hunter Hart, Kody Winch, Taylor Hart, Noah Winch, Sydney Welsh, and Jerry Huffman;great-grandchild, Brayden Winch; siblings, John (Bernice) Winch, Richard Winch, Cindy (Steve) Paroski; and brother in-law, Jesse Pennington. Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Friday, December 21, 2012 from 4:30 PM to 8:00 PM and will resume at the Calvary Temple Church in Fredericktown, Saturday, December 22, 2012 at noon.The service will follow at 1:00 PM with Rev. Carl Cureton officiating.Interment will be at Calvary Temple Cemetery.
