James Ray Steinmetz

Jimmy Steinmetz, 51, of Desloge, passed away November 5, 2015. He was born on March 7, 1964 in Bonne Terre to the late Harold Paul and Naomi Ruth (Ames) Steinmetz. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a sister-in-law Debbie Steinmetz. Jimmy was a carpenter and loved his family. He was an avid Nascar fan and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a graduate of North County High School. Jimmy is survived by two brothers, Steve Steinmetz and wife Sandy of Iron Mountain Lake and Robert Steinmetz of Park Hills; sisters, Diana Martin and husband Melvin of Mineral Point, Vickie Carroll and husband Bob of Desloge, Cynthia Bosier and husband Travis of Mineral Point; 8 nieces and nephews and 22 great-nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Sunday, November 8, 2015 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, November 9, 2015 at C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge, with Rev. Dennis Minks officiating, assisted by Pastor Daniel Weyand. Interment will follow to Leadwood Cemetery.
