James Oda Mayberry

James Mayberry, 61, passed away January 18, 2024 at his residence in Farmington surrounded by family. He was born November 9, 1962 in St. Louis, to the late Mat and Mable (Yates) Mayberry. He was a youth mason of the DeMolay International, and a Boy Scout. James enjoyed racing, riding motorcycles, driving his truck, and spending time with his family.

James was preceded in death by his parents; son, Larry Dale Mayberry; brother, Clarence Mayberry; sister, Patricia Ann Davidson (Don).

He is survived by his wife, Kimberly Dawn (Ellis) Mayberry; children, Preston Mayberry (Mallorie), Mallory Crochan, Justin Russell, Amber Russell (Joe Nelson), Shelly Penny (Timothy), Heather Conaway (Steven), Natasha Noll (Zack); twenty-three grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sister, Linda Skagg (Keith). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at C.Z. Boyer and Son – Desloge Chapel from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Visitation will resume on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at 8:00 AM until the time a services at 10:00 AM with Bro. Ron Walter officiating. Interment will follow at Pigg Cemetery in Bonne Terre. If desired memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association.
