James Rayburn, 75, of Bonne Terre passed away at his residence January 15, 2012. He was born June 28, 1936 to the late James McDonald and Minnie Lee (Lott) Rayburn in Lebanon, Nebraska. James is also preceded in death by his step-mother Beulah Rayburn and his sister Joyce May Rayburn.James was a member of the Bonne Terre Church of God, he served his country in the United States Army with the Screaming Eagles 101st Airborne Division. James was a retiree from Ice Cream Specialties (A Prairie Farms Company)James is survived by his wife, Helen (DeClue) Rayburn, his children; Rick Rayburn and wife Janet, Danny Rayburn and wife Donna, David Henderson, Brian Rayburn, Sheila (Rayburn) and husband Charlie Usher;Grandchildren, Katie Rayburn, Christopher Rayburn, Andrew Rayburn, Kyle Henderson, Jennifer and Billy Smith, Logan Rayburn, James Poe Rayburn, Chelsie Lashley, Rikki Lashley, John Lashley, Ashton Grounds; one great grandson Cayden Michael Leon Mosier; brothers, Mike, Harry, Ronnie; Sisters, Pat, Sheila, Brenda, Hazel, Shirley; a very special friend and brother in law Tom DeClue; also survived by several nieces, nephews, in- laws and friends. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday January 18, 2012 at the C. Z. Boyer Funeral Home in Bonne Terre with Pastor Steve Clevenger officiating.Interment will be at the Adams Hillcrest Cemetery in Bonne Terre.
