James David Mcdaniel

             David McDaniel, 81, of Farmington, passed away Friday, January 12, 2018 at the de Greeff Hospice House in St. Louis. He was born Tuesday, December 22, 1936 in Cantwell to the late Othel and Helen (Douglas) McDaniel. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Dorothy Mae (Pope) McDaniel; one daughter, Jo Ellen Dunham; two brothers, Joe and Robert McDaniel. David proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and retired after 33 years as an Air Traffic Controller.

David is survived by one daughter, Crystal Huebschen and husband Byron of Fredericktown; sister, Dorothy McKee and husband Billy of Fort Worth, Texas.

            Visitation will be Wednesday, January 17, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge. Service will be Thursday, January 18, 2018 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Ron Poole officiating assisted by Pastor Chestan Pickard. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Farmington, Missouri with full military honors.
