Mr. Ivan Louis Eaves passed away Saturday, July 3, 2010, at his Farmington residence at the age of 77 years, 8 months & 3 days. Ivan was born Oct. 31, 1932, in Potosi, MO., & was the son of Delwin T. Eaves and Nora A. 'Benham' Eaves. Also preceding in death were: a daughter, Beverly Ann Eaves (1964); a sister, in-infancy, Mary Lou Eaves and 4 brothers: James; Edwin; Frank & Leonard Dale Eaves.
Ivan was the former owner/operator of Tucker Vault Company in Farmington. Ivan was a US Army Veteran. He was a member of LePere-McCallister American Legion Post #416 of Farmington & Farmington ELKS Lodge #1765 BPOE.
Survivors Include : a daughter, Joni Elizabeth (Mrs. Larry) Hutchings, of Farmington. a Sister, Marie Patton, of Columbus, OH; 5 Brothers: William (& Donna) Eaves, of Tracy, CA; Donald Eaves, of SC; Ralph (& Patti) Eaves, of Bonne Terre; Charles (& Janet) Eaves, of Farmington; Paul Eaves, of North Carolina. 2 Sisters-In-Law: Betty Eaves, of St. Louis & Emma Eaves, of Kansas City, MO. 2 Grandchildren: Markus Wayne (& Whitney) Hutchings, of Farmington; Lori Ann (Mrs. Aaron) Steinmann, of Troy, MO. 1 Great-Grandchild: Jordan Hutchings, of Farmington. Also surviving are numerous Nieces; Nephews; friends & a Special Friend, Joyce Brand, of Desloge.
Visitation : Wednesday, 5-9, resuming Thursday @ 6:30 a.m.
Funeral : Thursday, 1:00 p.m., July 8, 2010,
at : TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Rev. James Lacey officiating. Ivan's Cemetery procession led by the Patriot Guard Riders.
Interment with Full Military Honors : Hillview Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Farmington.
