Mrs. Isabel Margarita 'Acosta' McClymont passed away late Wednesday afternoon, June 28, 2017, at Parkland Health Center, Farmington, at the age of 91 years & 16 days. Isabel was born June 12, 1926, in St. Louis, MO., & was the daughter of Leoncio Alejandro Acosta and Isabel Augusta 'Chaphe' Acosta. Also preceding-in-death were : her husband, Rev. James Sutherland McClymont (Aug. 26, 2012), & 2 brothers - Alexander Everett Acosta and George Allen Acosta.

Isabel was a graduate of Miss Hickey's Secretarial School in St. Louis and worked as a church secretary for various churches, including the Old Kingshighway Presbyterian Church, in St. Louis. Isabel was a very active lifelong church member and held many leadership positions . She was a pillar in The Presbyterian churches in which her husband pastored. Isabel was also a lifelong member of the DAR.

Survivors Include : 2 children - Mark Alexander McClymont, of Troy, Illinois, and Marsha (& Raymond) Hanley, of St. Louis. 4 grandchildren: Lt. Christopher James (& Kari) Hanley, stationed in the US Navy in San Diego, CA; Sara Kay (& Anthony) Brinker, of Columbia, IL; Christine Elizabeth Hanley, of Seattle, WA; Stacy Ann McClymont, of Caseyville, IL. 3 great-grandchildren: Elijah Anthony Brinker; twins - Barron Alexander Brinker & Sophia Kay Brinker, of Columbia, IL.

Memorial Service : Monday, 10:30 a.m., July 3, 2017

at : Farmington Presbyterian Church, with Rev. Bob Bullock officiating
