Ingeborg Mctearnen

Ingeborg “Inga” M. (Prager) McTearnen, 89, of Tallahassee Fl, formerly of Terre Du Lac passed away June 12, 2021. She was born January 13, 1932 in Munich, Germany to the late Johan Anton Prager and Mathilde (Regler) Prager.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert “Bob” Leo McTearnen; two sons, Robert H. McTearnen; Michael McTearnen, and brother John Prager.

Inga was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church and was a member of the church choir. She also regularly volunteered at the former Parkland Oncology Clinic in Bonne Terre.

Inga is survived by her children, Timothy (Janice) McTearnen, Kathy (Steve) Manders, Daniel (Sue) McTearnen, Christopher (Julie) McTearnen, two daughters-in-law Laurie McTearnen and Carol McTearnen. Sixteen grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, three sisters Hannelore (Ervin) Mueller, Trudi Niederhuber, and Christa Kempa as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends also survived.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 17, 2021 from 9:30 A.M. to 10:20 A.M. at C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Joseph Catholic Church Bonne Terre at 10:30 A.M. Father Stephen Bauer and Deacon Mike Burch officiating. Interment will follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis.
