Ina Muriel Lashley, 93, passed away on May 6, 2017, at Presbyterian Manor in Farmington, Missouri. She was born on April 30, 1924 in Reynolds County, Missouri, to John Henry Pinkley and Nancy Elizabeth Sutterfield. Ina graduated from Lesterville High School in 1942. She became the District Food Service Supervisor for the Mehlville School District, a position she held for 35 years.
Ina married N. Ray Lashley in 1942 in Ste. Genevieve, Missouri. They were happily married for 52 years. Ina enjoyed quilting and visiting with her sisters and brothers.
Ina is survived by her daughter Sharon Gifford (Dan) of Terre Du Lac; son Dan (Steve) of Arlington, VA; granddaughter Lori Lynne Browning; and great-grandchildren, Connor Christopher and Blake Carrigan; sister-in-law, Midge Pinkley; and many nieces and nephews.
Ina was preceded in death by her parents John Henry and Nancy Elizabeth Pinkley; husband, N. Ray Lashley; son, Clifton Rheuna Lashley; sisters, Mildred Jane (Harold) Parker, Lela Imogene (William) Tinsley, and Dorris Irnee (Lin) Roos; brothers, Oren Clifton (Anita) Pinkley, Louie Gordon (Leota) Pinkley, Henry Joel (Dorothy) Pinkley, and Willys Pinkley.
Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre from 6 to 8 pm on Thursday May 11, 2017. The family will be greeting friends and relatives at this time. The funeral service will be at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home Chapel at 10am on Friday morning, May 12, 2017. The Chaplain Robert Webb will officiate. Burial will follow at the Rayfield Cemetery near Lesterville, Missouri.
