Homer Galen Pearson

Homer Galen Pearson, 81, of DeSoto passed away May 27, 2014 at his residence. He was born October 23, 1932 in Steele, MO. Heproudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War. Hewas a member of the Bonne Terre VFW Post 6883 and loved researching history ofthe Civil War.He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert andDella (McKenney) Pearson; sister, Ruth Hodge; three brothers, Robert Pearson,Calvin Granville Pearson and Alvin "Hoover" Pearson.Homer is survived by his beloved companion, SharonGraham. Many nieces and nephews also survive. A memorial visitation will be held Saturday, May 31,2014 from 1:00 PM until the time of memorial service at 2:00 PM at the C. Z.Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre.
