Hilda Hammack

            Hilda Hammack, 98, of Farmington, passed away March 20, 2017, surrounded by her family. She was born March 11, 1919, in Hazel KY, to the late Tillmon C. and Mary Ruth (Cooper) Smith. Hilda was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bonne Terre and she loved to play dominoes regularly, with her friends.

             She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Chester V. Hammack; siblings, Tilghman Smith and Mary Collins. 

            Hilda is survived by her children, Phillip Hammack and wife Dorinda of Desloge, Sandra (Mrs. Ray) Williams of St. Louis, and Sheree (Mrs. George) Yallaly of O’Fallon; eight grandchildren, Steven (Cheryl) Williams, Kevin (Wendy) Williams, Jimmy Williams, Scott (Lisa) Hammack, Todd (Tracey) Hammack, Michelle (Todd) Whitehead, Stephanie Yallaly, Danielle (Bill) Gratz; twelve great-grandchildren, Heather, Andy, Mya, Brendan, Joshua, Caleb, Allie, Abbey, Lucas, Jake, Nicholas, and Jen.

             Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Thursday, March 23, 2017 from 9:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM. Reverend John Schneider will be officiating. Interment will follow at St. Francois Memorial Park in Bonne Terre. Memorials may be directed to the Cleft Palate Foundation, 1504 E.
