Hilda Bernice Stricklin

Hilda Bernice Stricklin, was born August 15, 1922, at Desloge. She passed away July 11, 2016, at St. Joe Manor in Bonne Terre.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Asa and Cecil Mae Phares; her husband, Arlie Vernon Stricklin; siblings, Christine Batson, Leroy “Jim”  Phares, Charlene “Ping” Smart and Marvin “Bud” Phares; and niece, Denise Gunning.

Hilda is survived by her children, Scott Stricklin and wife Margaret, Patricia Jewell, Joe Stricklin and wife Karen, and Dwight Stricklin; grandchildren, Christopher, Katherine, Kevin and Lawrence; brother, Robert “Bob” Phares and wife Barbara; sister-in-law, Shirley Phares; nieces, Kim Warren and Suzanne Roland; nephews, Craig Phares, Clay Phares and Bradley Phares; other relatives and friends.
