Herb House

Herbert Clinton House, 84 of Bonne Terre passed away January 2, 2014 at Parkland Health Center in Farmington. He was born February 14, 1929 in Bonne Terre. Herb was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church. He retired from the North County School District as the head of the maintenance department and was a former co-owner of House Vault and Septic Tanks.He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Dora (Bockenkamp) House; wife, Gertrude (Kalal) House; four brothers and four sisters.Herb is survived by his daughter, Valerie (Mrs. Bob) Groom; grandson, Keith Groom and wife Tenna; great-granddaughter, Alexus Groom.Visitation will be Saturday, January 4, 2014 from 11:00 AM until 4:00 PM at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge. A Prayer Service will be held at 3:45 PM with Deacon Mark Byington officiating with the Funeral Service immediately following at 4:00 PM on Saturday at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Chapel in Desloge with Pastor Bryan Mills officiating. Interment will be held at a later date at St. Joseph Cemetery in Bonne Terre.
