Henrietta Skaggs, 73, of Farmington passed away October 9, 2015 at her residence. She was born October 2, 1942 in Steele, Missouri. She was a member of Valles Mines Worship Center and loved children. She retired as the head nutritionist at Farmington School District. She was preceded in death by her father, Henry Howell; mother, Regina (Turnage) Burgett and step-father Walter; one brother, Walter "Jim" Burgett. Henrietta is survived by her husband, George Skaggs. Children; 1st SGT, Mandy (CW4 Tom) Guley (retired U.S. Army), Darlene Washington, CPO Douglas Henson (retired U.S. Navy). Step-children; Sally (Leonard) Bess, Faye (Rev. Leroy) Brown, Shelby (Mike) King, Dewayne Skaggs, 18 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren, and one sister; Shirley Shull. Special friend to the family, Earline Henson. Visitation will be Monday, October 12, 2015 from 4:30 to 9:00 PM at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. Service will be Tuesday, October 13, at 1:00 PM at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre conducted by Rev. David Tennyson and Rev. Leroy Brown. Interment will be at Germania Cemetery. Memorials may be to the Valles Mines Worship Center.
