Henrietta Dye, 86, of Farmington, passed away August 3, 2015, surrounded by loved ones. She was born July 27, 1929 in Irondale, to the late Henry William and Alma Irene (Pyatt) Roux. Henrietta was a former Eastern Star member and she enjoyed taking care of people and cooking, especially for her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James A. Dye; daughter, Maretta LaPlante; sisters, Norma Jean Dean and Barbara Mack; brothers, Clarence and Jim Roux; and grandson, Lance Dye. Henrietta is survived by three children, Daniel (Marian) Dye, Linda (Mrs. Paul) Petty, Rita Becker; son in-law, Bruce LaPlante; eight grandchildren; and nineteen great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Wednesday, August 5, 2015 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The service will be held in the C.Z. Boyer and Son Chapel, Thursday, August 6, 2015 at 11:00 AM with Evangelist Bernie Crum officiating. Interment will follow at St. Francois Memorial Park in Bonne Terre.
