Helen Price

Helen Mae (Jones) Price, age 87, of Desloge, passed away Saturday, May 4, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on Wednesday, February 10, 1937, in Elvins to the late C. R. and Pearl (White) Jones.

Helen was a founding member of the Desloge Garden Club. She was known for being a great cook, seamstress and crafter. Helen’s greatest joy was taking care of her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Donald D. Price; siblings, Jean Smith and husband Doc, Raymond “Bud” Jones and wife Betty, Betty Hulsey and husband Jack, Ed Jones and Margaret “Toots” Wells.

Helen is survived by her loving children, Richard Price and Pamela Price; grandchildren, Amy Jenkins and husband Justin, Laura Horton and husband Kenneth; four great-grandchildren, Brendon Jenkins, Addison Jenkins, Kolton Horton and Emma Horton; sister-in-law, Sue Jones along with several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home on Monday, May 6, 2024, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Vistitaion will resume on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at the funeral home from 9:00 AM until service time of 11:00 AM with Pastor David Watkins officiating. Burial to follow at St. Francois Memorial Park in Bonne Terre. Memorials can be made to the Elvins Food Pantry 17 West Main St. Park Hills MO. 63601.
