Helen G. Stegall

Helen Genevieve Stegall, 95, of Bonne Terre passed away August 15, 2016 at St. Joe Manor. She was born November 27, 1920 in Palmer, MO. She was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bonne Terre and former member of Daughters of Isabella.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Anna Lea (Montgomery) Wright; husband, Leonard “Nook” Stegall; daughter, Anna Mae Stegall; grandson, Sammy Robbins; three sisters, Dorothy Rawson, Betty Stokes and Frances Tanner; three brothers, Carrol Wright, Donald Wright and Glen Wright.

Helen is survived by her son, Charles “Steve” Stegall and wife Charlotte; daughter, Faith Bender and husband Dennis; three grandchildren, Steven Stegall, Tracy Rhodes and Angela Ferguson; eight great-grandchildren, Dustin Gray, Drew Rhodes, Corey Schibbelhut, Tagin, Kailie and Khloe Ferguson, Gavin and Baylee Roberts; great-great-granddaughter, Alleigh Jo Hoehn; sister, Charlotte Keen.

Visitation will be Wednesday, August 17, 2016 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. Funeral Mass will be Thursday at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bonne Terre with Rev. John Schneider officiating. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
