Harry Lynn Peterson

Harry Lynn Peterson passed away at Parkland Hospital in Farmington, on December 25, 2024, at the age of 86. He was born on March 15, 1938, in Bonne Terre to the late Harry H. and Ethel (Burcham) Peterson. 

Harry was a graduate of the Kemper Military Academy. After graduation he worked at his father’s Pepsi Cola Bottling Plant, in Flat River, which later he and his brother Crock owned. Harry was an avid hunter and fisherman who enjoyed the many trips and different species the hunt was for. He was a member of the Esther Baptist Church.

Harry is survived by his children, Cynthia Reeves, Diana Peterson, Carl Peterson, Scott Peterson and Gayla Peterson; eleven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren. Harry is also survived by his brother, Howard “Crockey” and wife Kathryn (McLane) Peterson. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, many friends and family.

A private family graveside service, under the direction of C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home—Taylor Chapel, is scheduled at St. Francois Memorial Park, on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at 11:00 AM.
