Harry Cannell

Harry Cannell, 71 of Farmington, passed away December 2, 2013 at Missouri Baptist in St. Louis. He was born June 8, 1942 in Elvins and later served his country in The United States Air Force, where he served overseas in Okinawa prior to The Vietnam War. He loved to hunt and fish, which he was able to do more, once he retired from Boeing after 43 years. Harry was also a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Park Hills. Harry is preceded in death by parents, Harry E. and Mary (Crader) Cannell; and son, Curtis Sloan Cannell.He is survived by wife, Margaret A. (Sloan) Cannell of 48 years; daughter, Angela Wright of Farmington; four grandchildren, Sr. Airman Devin Pope of Whiteman AFB, Eric Pope, Alexis Wright, and Maxwell Wright all of Farmington; brothers, Denny (Tammy) Cannell of Irondale, Bill (Norma) Cannell of Park Hills, and Paul Cannell of Louisiana.Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Wednesday, December 4, 2013 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The service will be held at Immaculate Conception Church in Park Hills, Thursday, December 5, 2013 at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Memorials can be made to Curtis S. Cannell Memorial Scholarship Fund c/o Mineral Area College.
