Harold Mcgee

Harold Dean “Fibber” McGee, 83, of Bonne Terre, passed away December 18, 2016, at National Health Care in Desloge. He was born June 15, 1933, to the late Ben Lloyd and Lillian Alma (Mushbach) McGee. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie June (Eaves) McGee.

Mr. McGee was a member of the Centenary United Methodist Church, and a 50 year member of the Samaritan Masonic Lodge #424. He also proudly served his country with the United States Army during the Korean War Era.

Mr. McGee is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth “ Beth”  (Stan) McCrorey of Bonne Terre; son, Harold “Hal” (Sherri) McGee of Chicago, IL.; grandchildren, Bethani McGee,  Merri Copeland-Cook and husband Caleb, Stephanie McCrorey, Eric McCrorey; great-grandchildren, Hayden Hart, Colton McCrorey, and Preston Eckhoff.

Visitation will be Tuesday 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a Masonic Service at 7 p.m., at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. Visitation will resume Wednesday at the Centenary United Methodist Church from 9 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. with Rev. David Wiant officiating. Interment will follow at St. Francois Memorial Park.
