Mr. Harold George Umfleet, 95, of Greensboro, NC died Thursday, July 4, 2012 at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro, NC.A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday, at Woodlawn Cemetery, in Leadington, MO. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:00 pm Tuesday prior to the service at C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home Caldwell Chapel, Park Hills, MO.Mr. Umfleet was born May 16, 1917, in Madison County, Missouri, to Frank and Lana Counts Umfleet. He served in the US Army and was married to the late Ola Garner Umfleet. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his son, Frank Umfleet, daughter, Juanita Harpster, and 4 brothers.Mr. Umfleet is survived by his daughter, Elaine Grimes and husband Denny, of Farmington, MO; son, Harry Umfleet and wife Ann, of Greensboro, NC; daughter-in-law Bobbie Umfleet; sister-in-law, Jean Umfleet, of Greensboro, NC; 11 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home is assisting the Umfleet family in Greensboro, NC and C.Z.
