Gregory Jim Moyers

            Greg Moyers, 40, of Leadwood, passed away Sunday, September 25, 2016 in Volusia County Florida, as a result of a car accident. He was born August 23, 1976 in Ste. Genevieve, to Richard Lynn and Jimy Lee (Bates) Moyers. Greg graduated from Central High School in 1994 and later was the owner / operator of Moyers Muffler Shop in Park Hills. Greg was a devoted family man, and did what he could, to spend as much time with his family.

             He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Edna Ruth Moyers; grandparents, James and Wanda Jean Bates. Greg’s wife, Sarah (Neeley) Moyers, also passed away in the car accident.

             Greg is survived by his children, Haley and Sophia Moyers, T.J. (Kennedy Brewer) Radford, Samantha (Jeremy Bowles) Neeley, and Micah J. Neeley; parents, Richard and Jimy Moyers of Park Hills; Pop Pop, Winston Bowles; grandparents, Herusel “Curly” (Joyce) Moyers; siblings, Wanda J. (Brad) Tinsley, Rhonda (Jeff) Lovelace, and Richard L. (Summer) Moyers II; nieces and nephews, Gregory Moyers, Amber Lovelace, August Montgomery, Logan Pratt, Mollie Sherman, Jacob Coal, Grace Neeley, William Kurtz and Sam Haley.

            A memorial visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Saturday, November 19, 2016 at 9:30 AM until service time at 11:00 AM. Reverend Jim Muse will be officiating. Memorials may be directed to the Greg and Sarah Moyers Memorial Fund @ First State Community Bank.
