Gordon Womble, 64, of Bismarck, passed away Saturday, August 8, 2015 at his home. He was born Friday, January 12, 1951 in Middlebrook to the late Robert and Beulah (Thomlinson) Womble-Regan. Gordon loved to hunt and fish. He liked watching baseball. He was a race fan racing some himself in the Sportsman class and had a reputation for being able to fix anything. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brothers, Calvin and Dorris Womble; brother-in-law, Donald Huebner; and a special niece and catfishing buddy, Michelle Morris. Gordon is survived by his wife, Rose (Schrum) Womble; daughter, Holly Bauman and husband Brian; son, Brian Womble and wife Kylie; special nieces, Melissa Steinmetz and husband Tony, Brandy White and husband Woody, Courtney Black and husband David; grandchildren, Noah, Isaiah, Elizabeth, Zachariah, Mollie, Dillion, Brady, Cole, and Reese; great-grandchildren, Zoie and Tucker; brothers, Louie Womble and wife Sharon, Gary Womble and wife Rena, Perry Womble and wife Norma, and Marvin Womble; sisters, Judy Huebner and Kathy Mowery and husband Steve. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Monday, August 10, 2015 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral service will be Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at St. Francois Memorial Park in Bonne Terre.
