Glenwood Woody Winch

Glenwood “Woody” Winch, 74, of Springfield, formerly of Desloge, passed away December 10, 2019 at Neighborhood Quail Creek Skilled Nursing Center in Springfield.  He was born December 10, 1945, in Desloge to the late Earl and Ruby (Craig) Winch. Woody proudly served our country in The United States Army during Vietnam as a helicopter mechanic. Woody was a member of Freemont Freewill Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, Woody was preceded in death by siblings, Harold Gene Winch, Gloria Umfleet, and Louise Cochran.

He is survived by his wife, June (Matthews) Winch;  brother, Dennis Winch and wife Carol, and sister, June Button.

Visitation will be Monday, December 16, 2019 from 9 am until service time of 11 am at C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge. Interment will follow at Parkview Cemetery.
