At the moment of silence, Glenn was in the arms of God. Glennon James Kleinberg was born in St. Louis, Missouri on August 10, 1947 and passed away in Knob Lick, Missouri on March 31, 2024. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Lori Ann (Kleinberg) Politte; parents, Clarence and Alpine (Perringer) Kleinberg; sister, Joan Kleinberg; and brothers, Kenneth and Richard Kleinberg.
Glenn was the “maintenance engineer” at St. Joseph Catholic School in Farmington and the grounds keeper at Madison Medical Center in Fredericktown before retiring in 2011. He loved working in his yard and building birdhouses. To this day, many family and friends have one of his unique birdhouses.
Glenn is survived by his wife, Karen (Dickey) Kleinberg; daughter, Wendy (Cory) Stallings; grandchildren, Codie (Marie) Umfleet, Gaige Politte, Alli Lewis and Savannah Kleinberg-Hampton; great-grandchildren, Ellie and Maximus Umfleet; brothers, Gerald Kleinberg and Douglas (Shari) Kleinberg; brother-in-law, Jim Dickey. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 3, 2024 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home – Taylor Chapel in Farmington. Visitation will resume on Thursday at 9:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Taylor Chapel with Pastor Cory Stallings officiating. Interment will follow at Knob Lick Cemetery.Wednesday, April 3, 2024
