Glenna Charlotte Tatum, 81, of Farmington passed away February 26, 2025 at Presbyterian Manor. She was born February 20, 1944 in Dexter, MO to the late Virgil Utah and Goldie Marie (Killian) Medlock. Glenna was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Farmington, where she enjoyed working in the library for many years. She was a former teacher for the Farmington School District where she taught kindergarten and third grade. She always enjoyed shopping and cooking, but her greatest love was her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren to whom she was affectionately known as “Nana”.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Phillip Lawrence Tatum; and brother, Ted Medlock.
Glenna is survived by her daughter, Kelly Murphy and husband Patrick; two grandchildren, Kalyn McAllister and husband SSG Arran, Brady Cox and wife Rielle; great-grandson, Bennett McAllister; step-grandchildren, Brianna Murphy (Lane Hampton) and Zack Murphy; sister-in-law, Glenda Medlock; niece, Tracey (Michael) Vinson; great niece, Amanda (Stacey) Cain; great-nephew, Trent Warren; great-great niece and nephew, Poppy and Clark Cain.
A memorial visitation will be held at the First Baptist Church of Farmington on Saturday, March 1, 2025 from 11:00 AM until the time of a memorial service at Noon. Memorial donations may be made to the First Baptist Church of Farmington. Arrangements are under the direction of C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home – Taylor Chapel in Farmington.
