Glen Edward Hendrix

Glennon (“Glen”) Edward Hendrix, of Tuscumbia, MO, passed away Sunday, December 15,2024, at the age of 76.

Glen worked for John Deere, mechanic shop and other employers before eventually retiring from Modine Manufacturing. Always doing little things here and there, retirement did not slow him down, and he especially enjoyed working alongside his longtime friend Howard. Glen loved camping, hunting, setting trout lines and other fishing activities. His love for the outdoors is a particular legacy he passes to his children and grandchildren. It seemed like he never met a stranger and often looked for ways to help others and give back to his community, including serving as a volunteer at the local food pantry. When, through the years, Glen faced hurdles, he learned to face them head-on and treat giving up as a non-option.

Glen and Karen, his loving companion of 30 years, made many memories on the property they enjoyed together, sharing them with Karen’s family and their beloved animals.

Glen is survived by Wilma “Karen” Davis, 8 children, 20 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 2 brothers, a host of family and friends, and his fur baby, Kota and bird peepers.

 He is preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Edna, 2 sisters, 3 brothers and 1 stepdaughter.

Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre, Friday, December 27, 2024 11:00 AM until service time of 1:00 PM with Pastor Michael Barton officiating. Interment will follow at Buster Cemetery in Valles Mines. Arrangements are under the direction of C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre.
