Glen A. Penfield, Sr.

Mr. Glen A. Penfield, Sr., passed away late Saturday night at his rural Farmington residence at the age of 80 years, 9 months & 22 days. Glen was born on March 28, 1937, in Bridgeton, New Jersey, and was the son of the late William Glen Penfield (dec'd April 24, 1999) & Hannah 'Griffith' Penfield (dec'd Aug. 31, 2009).

Glen retired from the Flat River Glass Company and was united in marriage on November 29, 1958, to Katharine E. Earnest. They recently celebrated their 59th Wedding Anniversary.

Survivors Include : his wife, Katharine "Kay" Penfield, of Farmington. 1 daughter, Kay (Mrs. Randy) Knox, Sr., of Farmington. 2 sons: Glen (& Mary) Penfield, Jr., of Farmington, and David (& Tina) Penfield, of Farmington. Also surviving are 20 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

Funeral : Thursday, 1:00 p.m., January 25, 2018

at : TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Rev. Marco Van Raalten officiating

Interment follows at Chestnut Ridge Cemetery - Ste. Genevieve County
