Mrs. Gladys Elizabeth Schwidde passed away early Sunday morning, February 17, 2002, at the Parkland Health Center South Hospital, in Farmington, at the age of 82 years, 5 months & 12 days. Gladys was born September 5, 1919, in Cuba, Missouri, to Claude Hilbert Stevens & Lula Martha 'Burleson' Stevens. Gladys was a faithful member of the Farmington First Baptist Church. SURVIVORS INCLUDE: Her HUSBAND: Charles E. Schwidde - of Farmington; 2 SONS: Harvey E. "Gene" (& Linda) Schwidde - of Wytheville, Virginia; Charles J. (& Gloria) Schwidde - of Washington, North Carolina; 1 SISTER: Bertha Gay 'Mrs. Guy' Cooper, of Cuba, Missouri; 1 BROTHER: John Hilbert (& Helen) Stevens, of Cuba, Missouri; 5 GRANDCHILDREN: Debra Simon, of Manchester, MO; Khrystel (& Scott) Hylton, of Willis, VA; Steve Schwidde, of St. Louis County, MO; Donald Schwidde, of Gastonia, NC & Edward Schwidde, of Greenville, NC; Also, 6 GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN. Visitation Monday, 4-8 pm; resuming Tuesday at 7:00 a.m. Funeral Tuesday, 11:00 a.m., February 19, 2002, at Farmington First Baptist Church with Dr. William C. Miller & Rev. Donald Stanley officiating. Interment following in Hillview Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Farmington. Memorials to: Farmington First Baptist Church - Piano &/or Organ Fund.
