Virginia “Ginny” Elsie (Wigger) Inman, 81, died April 26, 2020 at the Carroll Lutheran Village in Westminster, Maryland. She was born January 29, 1939 in Mineral Point to the late George and Ida Bell (Howarka) Wigger. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bonne Terre where she enjoyed singing in the choir. Ginny was a well-known nurse in our area and a retired teacher from Unitech where she was the skilled nursing instructor. During the summers and weekends, Ginny would work at Bonne Terre Hospital where she would often bring her students so they could complete their clinicals.
In addition to her parents, Ginny was preceded in death by her husband, Noel Lee Inman; two brothers, Wyman Wigger and Richard Wigger; sister, Iva Emily.
Ginny is survived by one son, Mark Inman of Kansas City, Kansas; one daughter, Martha (Michael) Brown of Reisterstown, MD.; four grandchildren, Wren and Luke Inman, Lexie and Olivia Rankin; two sisters, Bernice (David) Kingsland, Evangeline (Leon Camillo) Wigger; two sister in laws, Jewell Wigger and Mamie Wigger; several nieces, nephews, cousins and very close friends also survive.
There will be a private visitation and funeral service at C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge on Saturday, May 2, 2020 with Brother Alan Berry officiating. Interment will follow at Bonne Terre Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home.
