George Carr

George Carr, 69 of Terre Du Lac passed away March 15, 2013. He was born July 25, 1943 in Jefferson City. He owned and operated Carr Engineering Services, LLC for over twenty-five years. George lived in Viburnum for several years and was active in various community affairs. While living in Terre Du Lac he served on the Board of Directors. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward L. Carr.George is survived by his wife, Helen (Matthews) Carr; mother, Grace Louise (Jennings) Carr; two children, Keith (Benka) Carr and Marcia (Stephen) Shrader; two step-children, Mark Abney and Kimberly (Billy) Rowden; three grandchildren, Sylvia Shrader, Hank Shrader and Chase Abney; brother, Robert (Karen) Carr.Visitation will be Monday, March 18, 2013 from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge. Service will be Tuesday at 11:00 AM at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Chapel with Pastor Michael Kelpe officiating. Memorials may be made to Free Wheelchair Mission or Centenary United Methodist Church.
