Genevieve C. Mahurin

Genevieve C. Mahurin of Desloge, passed away on August 15, 2014 at her residence. She was born on May 29, 1926 in Desloge to the late Frank and Ollie M. (Pratte) McCall. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William G. Mahurin and sister Evelyn Womack. Genevieve was a member of Immaculate Conception Church and Ladies Sodality. Genevieve is survived by her three sons, Robert (Carol) Mahurin of Harrisburg, William Mahurin of Desloge, and John Mahurin of Desloge; two daughters Jeanne Sullens of Desloge and Mary Suzy (Rick) Huber of Desoto; two brothers Len (Willa) McCall and Amos (Dorothy) McCall; sister Beatrice Stroup; grandchildren: Rebecca (Eric) Bennett, Chad (Melissa) Mahurin, Danielle (Matthew) Easter, Charles Doug (Sheri) Sullens, Sean (Michelle) Mahurin, Laura Brawley, Jay Davis, Stephanie Romich, Randall Davis, Gregory Davis; great-grandchildren: Ryan, Allison, Kaitlyn, Natalie, Kinsley, Dakota, Nathan, Carter, Audrey, Justin, Allie, and Brooke; great-great grandchildren: Triston, Lilly, Jackson, Roselynn, and Trent. She was a loving mother and grandmother to all. Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Monday, August 18, 2014 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The service will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Park Hills, Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Mark S. Ebert officiating.
