Mrs. Geneva Fay Parish, passed away Monday, May 29, 2006, at her Farmington residence, at the age of 88 years, 6 months & 27 days. Geneva was born on November 2, 1917, in Mingo, MO., & was the daughter of William Edgar St. Clair & Cora Edith 'Barks' St. Clair. Also preceding-in-death were: 2 Sons: William Duprez Parish (1990) & Donald Lee Parish (1972); 3 Sisters: Ruth Shands; Bertha Holligen & Eunice Fisher; 4 Brothers: John; Chester; Ed & Eli St. Clair.
Geneva was a devoted mother & grandmother & also a very talented artist, specializing in oil painting & china painting. She loved to quilt, crochet & sew, and created many beautiful quilts & afghans. During her lifetime, she enjoyed traveling & visited various places including Greece & israel. She formerly owned & operated the Ar Grand Beauty Salon in St. Louis & also the New Image Beauty Salon in Farmington. She will be missed very much by family & friends alike.
Survivors Include: 1 DAUGHTER: Martha 'Mrs. Kenneth' Coleman; 1 SISTER: Nina Simpson; Sisters-In-Law: Marie St. Clair & Eva St. Clair. Daughters-In-Law: Sandy Parish & Robbie Parish. Grandchildren include; Donna (Mrs. Ray) Vandiver; Leesa Parish; Loree (Mrs. Mike) Amsden; Jason (& Keren) Coleman; Corey (& Fawnda) Parish; and very special grandson, Kevin (& Michelle) Eoff. Great-Grandchildren include: John, Aaron, Grant, Grace, Ivy, Sally, Chelsea, Leslie, Jamie, Abe, Ben & Cassie.
Visitation: Wednesday, 5-8 pm. Visitation resumes Thursday, 7:00 a.m.
Funeral: Thursday, 10:00 a.m., June 1, 2006
at: TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, Farmington.
Interment Service: Thursday, 3:00 p.m., June 1, 2006, at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Kennett, MO.
