Gene Isgrig, 85 of Bonne Terre passed away May16, 2013. He was born December 1, 1927 in Cadet. He proudly served his countryin the United States Army during World War II. He was a member of the BonneTerre VFW Post 6883.He was preceded in death by his parents,Fred and Martha (Webb) Isgrig; daughter and son-in-law, Susan and PeterAuBuchon, Jr.; siblings, Lola Kerlegon, Irene Venable, Floyd Isgrig, HazelIsgrig, Jesse Isgrig, Edward Isgrig, Chester Isgrig, Florence Pulliam, HomerIsgrig and Junior Isgrig, Rebecca Smith. Gene is survived by his wife, Mary (Phipps)Isgrig; son, David Isgrig and wife Linda; three grandchildren, Matthew Isgrig,Linette (Marc) Beiner and Peter (Kristie) AuBuchon III; fourgreat-grandchildren, Kiley and Marisa Beiner and Preston and Noah AuBuchon;sister, Norma (Paul) Clark.Visitation will be Sunday, May 19, 2013from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in BonneTerre. Service will be Monday at 10:00 AM at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Chapelwith Rev. Randy Murphy officiating. Interment will follow at Jefferson BarracksNational Cemetery at 12:30 PM with full military honors. Memorials may be madeto the Alzheimers Association or AmHeart Hospice.
