Gary Lindell White, 90, of Farmington passed away December 30, 2024 at Parkland Health Center in Farmington. He was born August 4, 1934 in Desloge to the late Charles Monta and Mary Virginia (Byers) White. Gary was a member of the First Baptist Church of Farmington. Gary retired from the State of Missouri after working for over 40 years as a State Highway Engineer. He was a co-founder of the Mineral Area Modeling Association and former School Board President for the North St. Francois County School District. His hobbies and interests included model airplanes, golfing, computers, photography and traveling. He especially enjoyed taking road trips and even made the trip to Alaska, and back at age 80.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his first wife, Bonnie (Sweeney) White; second wife, Donna (Baughn) Doughty White; daughter-in-law, Jill (Biggs) White; brothers, Bill White and Robert White; sister, Dee (White) Thornsberry; brother-in-law, Jim Naset.
Gary is survived by his children, Glen Doughty and wife Sheila, Kelly Wormsley and husband Thomas, Kevin White, Carol Hogancamp and husband William; six grandchildren, Deanna (Todd) Vierck, Kaitlin (Eric) Hogan, Will (Susan Veal) Hogancamp, Kyle Hogancamp, Emma (Joon Kim) White and Audrey White; great-grandson, Declan Vierck; sister, Mary Naset. Many nieces, nephews, family and friends also survive.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 7, 2025 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the C.Z. Boyer & Son – Taylor Chapel in Farmington. Visitation will resume on Wednesday at 9:00 AM until the time of service at 10:00 AM at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Taylor Chapel with Rev. Greg Robinson officiating. Interment will follow at Parkview Cemetery in Farmington. Memorial donations may be made to The Baptist Home of Arcadia Valley, MO.
