Gary Thomas Mitchell

Gary Thomas Mitchell, 69, of Desloge passed away April 19, 2015 at Southbrook Skilled Nursing Center. He was born September 24, 1945 in St. Louis to the late Thomas and Esther (Hulsey) Mitchell. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Louise Mahurin, and Christina Mitchell; brother, Herbert "Peck" Mitchell. Gary was a member of the Mineral Area Elks Lodge and served his country in the United States Army. Gary is survived by his wife, Sharon Rose (Green) Mitchell of Desloge; daughter, Gayla (Cliff) Charboneau of Desloge; son, Allen Tripp of Farmington; five grandchildren, Jacob and Gracie Tripp, Anthony French, Blake and Paige Charboneau. Visitation will be Monday April 20, 2015 from 5 pm to 8 pm at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge. Funeral service will be 11 am Tuesday at the C.Z. Boyer & Son chapel in Desloge. Interment will follow at Leadwood Cemetery.
