Gary Lee “Tank” Marler, age 55, of Bonne Terre, passed away Friday, May 4, 2018 at Missouri Baptist Medical Center in St. Louis surrounded by his loving family. He was born Saturday, October 20, 1962 to Edwin S. Marler and Geraldine “Jeri” (Pettus) Marler Faircloth in Bonne Terre. Gary was a U.S. Tool retiree with 30 years of employment.
Gary was preceded in death by his father Edwin S. Marler.
He is survived by his daughter, Tenaya Kelley and her husband Casey; mother of his daughter and former wife, Gina Marler; mother, Jeri Faircloth and stepfather, Darrell Faircloth; grandchildren, CJ and Carter Kelley; sister, Teri Wells and companion Bob Bollinger; brother, Larry L Marler and his wife Deborah; stepbrother, Brent Faircloth; stepsister, Amy Lix and her husband Scott; nieces and nephews, Amber Marler, Lucas Marler, Seth Marler, Garrett Marler, Tyler Lix, Megan Lix, and Hayden Lix; beloved pets, Speck, Grizz, Stevie, and Frankie the parrot.
Visitation will be held Sunday, May 6, 2018 from 4 PM to 8 PM at C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. Services will begin at 11 AM on Monday, May 7, 2018 at C.Z. Boyer & Son Chapel in Bonne Terre with Brother Chuck Lotz officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
